We will open the Akadeemia 11/1 building in August 2026, before the start of the academic year. The building has been closed for renovation for the entire past year and in the new building you will be the very first residents to enjoy the new, beautiful, and modern rooms. The hostel is located right on the university campus, only a five minute walk away from the TalTech main building. It is a very convenient location for student life.

ROOMS

The hostel consists of apartment-style units. Each apartment has two twin rooms (4 residents share an apartment). Both rooms share a kitchen, toilet, and shower. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with appliances and utensils for cooking. We also offer the option to book a twin room for single use, if you prefer more space and extra privacy during your stay. The rooms are modern, stylish, and fully furnished, everything you need for a comfortable stay.
All residents of the building can use the conference room located on the first floor for meetings or smaller meet-ups. On the top floor there is an outdoor terrace where you can relax in the fresh air and enjoy beautiful views of the TalTech campus. On the first floor, there are pay-to-use, self-service laundry machines and dryers.

RENOVATION AND IMPORTANT NOTES

Since the building is still under renovation, the images provided are for illustrative purposes only. The rooms shown in the pictures are currently without furniture. Furniture installation will take place in the summer of 2026.  In the sample images, the beds are pushed together, but in the student rooms the beds are separate.

LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS

There are good public transport connections to the rest of the city and free parking is available next to the building. The hostel is also located close to a pine forest, perfect for walks, sports, and outdoor activities. In the pine forest, there is an outdoor gym and a basketball field. If you prefer being close to the university buildings and a green living environment, this is the right place for you.

ABOUT PRICES 

We offer students good and flexible conditions and we have taken a flexible approach to pricing. For example, no deposit or contract fee is required. Utilities are also included in the accommodation price. The rate is fixed, making it very convenient for budgeting and cost planning. This way you won’t face any unexpected extra costs you haven’t planned for.

The accommodation price is calculated on a daily basis. Accommodation is paid for per night, we calculate your total accommodation cost based on the number of nights you have stayed with us. For the first month, we start calculating your accommodation price from your arrival date. Accommodation payments are made at the beginning of each month.
NB!  We do not require any deposit or contract initiation fee, however, we require a prepayment for the first month’s accommodation to be made prior to arrival.
