We are located in a modern and green university campus, home to TalTech’s academic and research buildings, student campus, sports complex, innovation centers, and vibrant student life. Our surroundings offer excellent opportunities for sports and provide an inspiring environment for studying and research.

UNIVERSITY, LIBRARY AND MUSEUM

Near our hostel you will find the main building of Tallinn University of Technology, as well as academic buildings and the library. The library is open to everyone, and a one-time visitor pass can be obtained for access.
The museum offers engaging and educational experiences for both adults and children, inviting all visitors to explore its interactive and exciting exhibitions.
The campus also offers pleasant open areas for walking and relaxation. Akadeemikute Alley, the spacious inner courtyard, and the amphitheater at the heart of the campus are popular meeting spots. These areas are suitable for small events or simply for peaceful relaxation.

SPORTS AND LEISURE

TalTech Sports Club offers sports facilities for both students and visitors. Regular sports events take place in the sports building, and there are opportunities to engage in a variety of activities. In addition, there are several other sports facilities, gyms, and swimming pools nearby, ensuring that everyone can find a suitable way to stay active.

Close to us you will also find the Nõmme forest and health trails, where you can walk, run, or exercise both in summer and winter. From the Nõmme hill, you can enjoy beautiful views over Tallinn.

Nearby is also Männi Park, one of the most pleasant green areas in Mustamäe. It is perfect for walking, having a picnic, or simply enjoying time in nature. Public events and concerts are occasionally held there. For children, there is a traffic playground and several different play areas.

If you are interested in local life and food culture, we recommend visiting Nõmme Market. It is a charming historic marketplace where fresh and local products are sold.

About a 10-minute drive away is Tallinn Zoo, which has one of the most diverse collections in Northern Europe. Before visiting, we kindly recommend checking the opening hours on the zoo’s website.

For more active leisure, nearby you will also find Nõmme Adventure Park, where you can climb through treetop courses of varying difficulty. It is suitable for both children and adults. If you prefer to relax, Mustamäe Elamus Spa is also nearby—a large wellness and water centre with saunas, pools, and relaxation areas.

SCIENCE AND BUSINESS

Just a few hundred meters from our building is Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, home to startups and growing technology companies. It is a place where science and business meet. Various public events, workshops, and seminars are often held there.

EVENT ORGANISATION

A couple of kilometers from us is the historic Glehn Castle. This fairytale-like castle is located in a forest and surrounded by interesting sculptures and a park. The castle is available for hosting events, receptions, concerts, and seminars. Events can also be organised in the main building of Tallinn University of Technology.
